 Darrell BeckerWith more than 25 years of experience in planning, developing and managing elaborate, large-scale construction projects in and around Santa Barbara, Darrell has been an esteemed member of the local building community since 1987. He graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a degree in Business/Economics. Prior to attending Westmont, Darrell was the Vice President of Ecotrend Inc., a family owned real estate management and development company in Ventura County. After graduating from Westmont, Darrell was employed as a Project Manager at Ostrander Construction, a company specializing in high-end residential and commercial construction. In 1995 Darrell founded Becker Construction Corporation. BCC specializes in luxury residential construction and development exclusively in the Santa Barbara area. With Darrell at the helm, BCC has evolved into the area’s premier, sought after residential full-service contracting company, with a refined workforce of 25 employees focused on environmentally-conscious building and creative design that delivers exceptional value as Becker Studios. Darrell is a creative and gifted craftsman with a keen eye for detail, design and an incredible respect for the process and sequencing of construction. He is passionate about what he builds and demands daily involvement on every project where he puts his many skills and talents to use on the job. In addition to building custom luxury homes, Darrell is committed to community involvement. He has served as President and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Barbara.  Kirsten Kemp BeckerKIRSTEN KEMP BECKER is the host of the new TLC series HOPE FOR YOUR HOME, and well known as host of TLC’s hit PROPERTY LADDER. Kirsten is also a veteran Realtor, author and real estate expert with her own successful design company. With years of experience in renovating and building homes, Kirsten’s on-air persona provides professional insight into creating “added value to real estate” and she dispenses critical guidance for viewers looking to tackle their own home-improvement projects. At Becker Studios she oversees coordination of lead times and finish materials in a way that guarantees seamless execution, timeliness and efficiency between the client’s selections and incorporation of these choices in the field. With her gift for meticulous planning and timeless yet personalized style, Kirsten knows how to infuse key rooms with the perfect mix of impeccable form and flawless function, while always maintaining her desire to reuse and recycle at the forefront of every project. As a designer and interior decorator, Kirsten artistically blends comfort and style with practicality, convenience, function and flow.
